When we acknowledge the land, we are paying respect to the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for those lands since time immemorial. I believe that when we acknowledge the land, the ancestors are pleased and will look kindly upon us. I am committed to learning the Indigenous place names of all of the territories in which I travel.
